Six Month Update

Wow - has it been six months already? I've lost track. Probably because I hardly even think about Hepatitis C any more! Now that I don't have the virus any more, I just feel like a normal person! I hardly have any relation to all those months of stress and tiredness and injections and yukkyness. I just feel awesome. Absolutely awesome.
My message to anyone who's going through the treament now, or who has been recently diagnosed, is don't worry about a thing! Everything's going to be OK in the end!
Yes, there really is an end. I'm so happy.

Hello there, I'm happy to hear about the outcome of your treament, I shall be beginning mine at the end of the year. I'm also a libra, a rooster and a media person who it seems like these people get cured! One quick question: did you take any herbs before treatment? My doctor told me to stop using milk thistle but then she had never even heard about. It seems like there is a consensus that it is good. Anyway, thanks for any tips!
All the best,
Toni

I thought about taking milk thistle, but after a lot of research I decided not to. I know it's good for your liver if the liver's relatively healthy, but with a serious liver condition like this I think it's best to be extra careful. So I didn't take any herbal supplements. I ate lots of fruit and veggies, drank lots of water, slept a lot and took long walks. Good luck with your treatment and keep in touch!

I have Hep-C and just finished 6 months of therapy so far but I take the milk thistle and triple lecthin combination but my doctor had told me that protein plays a big roll in killing the virus. They have me drinking 2 bottles of Special K 2 O protein water a day along with water and crystal light in between. I just recieved the results back and it shows no sign of the virus but I have to contine on with the therapy until end of Jan 2008 and I hope that this time it takes care of this virus for good as this is the 3 rd time and NEW doctor as the other one that I had really was no help as far as trying to cure this. I know that it may never go away for good but I recieved a bad blood transfusion and so now I am stuck dealing with these treatments.
God's Blessings to All
